Wedding Content Capture Guide
Thank you for helping us capture these special moments! Here are some tips to guide you:
Important Notes:
Shoot Vertically: We’re creating a social media reel, so vertical videos work best.
Stay Relaxed: No need to move like a pro. Capturing moments from your seat is perfectly fine. Remember, we don’t want to distract the couple during their special moments!
Enjoy Yourself: You're here to celebrate, so soak in the day! Capture the moments and interactions that feel genuine and natural to you. Often, the best shots come from those spontaneous, candid moments that truly reflect the joy of the occasion.
What to Capture:
Before the Ceremony:
Venue & Decor: Get wide shots and close-ups of the venue, flowers, and other decorations.
Guests Arriving: Capture warm greetings and candid moments.
During the Ceremony:
Key Moments: Focus on the bride walking down the aisle, vows, the ring exchange, and the first kiss. Don't forget to capture guests' reactions!
After the Ceremony:
Couple’s Exit: Film the newlyweds leaving, especially if there's confetti.
Group Shots & Candid Moments: Record candid moments of joy and laughter.
During the Reception:
First Dance & Cake Cutting: Capture these memorable moments from a distance or up close.
Speeches & Dance Floor: Film the speakers, the couple's reactions, and all the dance floor fun!
Tips for Great Footage:
Angles & Shots: Mix it up with high angles, low angles, close-ups, and wide shots for variety.
Good Lighting: Use natural light when possible. For darker settings, try night mode and avoid using the flash.
Keep It Steady: Hold your phone with both hands and move slowly to avoid shaky footage.
Frame the Moment: Keep the couple centered in important shots, and zoom in on details like rings, flowers, and emotional expressions.
Be Discreet: Blend in with the crowd to capture authentic moments without interrupting the flow.
Thank you for being a part of this special day and helping to create unforgettable memories!
